Sales Engineer
Position Description:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical support in sales cycles. In order to accomplish these objectives the Sales Engineer is responsible for soliciting business requirements, identifying areas of opportunity, working with the Sales Directors and members of the Client Services team to deliver compelling demonstrations tied to the company value proposition, developing detailed proposal responses, and providing ongoing feedback to the product management team. The ideal candidate has a track record of success in outperforming sales goals, delivering enterprise solution demonstrations to companies and preferably a real estate background.
Professional requirements:
- Ensures technical wins during sales cycles by explaining the benefit of Bricsnet's products (including but not limited to their architecture, features, technical/business benefits, etc.) to prospects through presentations, detailed discussions, product demonstrations, etc. in order to reinforce the value proposition driven by the Sales Director.
- Participates on sales calls in person, WebEx, or conference calls to understand and identify business needs of prospective customers.
- Participate in all technical pre-sales activities including meetings, RFI/RFP, Proof of Concepts, etc.
- Defines and proposes technical architectures (including associated business and technical benefits) that meets and exceeds the objectives and requirements of prospects.
- Creates demonstration systems that support the value propositions that have been created for the product, which could include demo scripts, guides, or self-guided demos.
- Work with Sales Directors and Client Services to scope and price custom solutions for customers.
- Articulates to prospects competitive differentiators for Bricsnet's products and sets competitive traps with prospects.
- Work with product management/development team by providing ongoing feedback to enhance and maintain robust solutions and ensure marketing and sales approaches are appropriate for target customers.
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship between all necessary departments to ensure resources are used to achieve customer satisfaction and corporate objectives.
- Participate in the development and execution of the strategy for the opportunity by assisting the Sales Director in identification of the sales steps necessary to win the opportunity.
- Work with the sales team, Product Management, and Client Services to lead and coordinate the product strategy for the opportunity.
- Understanding of the technical components of a web-based enterprise class software system.
- Working knowledge of relational databases
- Basic knowledge of current programming and markup languages such as J2EE, XML, HTML
Education/Experience
- 4-year college degree candidate should have 7 or more years enterprise software experience (consulting and/or presales), be entrepreneurial, motivated and have a proven record of successfully selling sophisticated software and service products to high level management in mid and large corporate markets

Compensation:
DOE
Base Salary + commission, expenses and benefits, stock options
